The terms that apply to enquiries, quotations, orders and services with Sigma Process Controls.
Please read these terms carefully. They explain how we quote, supply and support industrial pumps, blowers and process equipment, and what we expect from our customers.

By accessing this website or placing an enquiry, quotation request or order with Sigma Process Controls (“Sigma”, “we”, “us”), you (“the customer”, “you”) agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or our services.

03Use of the Website

You may use this website for lawful business purposes only. You agree not to:
Submit false, misleading or incomplete enquiry details.
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website, its servers or connected systems.
Copy, scrape or reproduce website content at scale without our written consent.
Introduce malicious code or interfere with the normal operation of the website.

04Product Information and Specifications

Product descriptions, images, catalogues, datasheets and performance figures on this website are provided for general guidance. Actual specifications depend on the manufacturer, model, configuration and operating conditions.
Images are representative and may differ from the supplied equipment. Final specifications are those stated in our written quotation, order confirmation or the manufacturer’s datasheet.

05Selection and Sizing Advice

Our recommendations are based on the application data you provide, such as flow rate, head, pressure, fluid characteristics, temperature and operating conditions. You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of that data.
Sigma is not responsible for performance shortfalls arising from incorrect, incomplete or changed operating data, or from use outside the stated duty.

06Quotations and Pricing

Quotations are issued in writing and are valid for the period stated on them. If no period is stated, a quotation is valid for fifteen (15) days from its date.
Prices are in Indian Rupees unless stated otherwise and are exclusive of GST and other applicable taxes, freight, packing, insurance and installation charges unless expressly included. Prices may change with manufacturer price revisions, taxes or duties before an order is confirmed.

07Orders and Payment

An order is accepted only when we issue a written order confirmation. Payment terms are as stated in the quotation or order confirmation. Unless otherwise agreed:
Standard orders require advance payment or payment against proforma invoice before dispatch.
Delayed payments may attract interest at a reasonable rate and may result in a hold on further supplies.
Equipment remains the property of Sigma until payment is received in full.
Custom, imported or made-to-order equipment cannot be cancelled once the order is placed with the manufacturer.

08Delivery and Risk

Delivery dates are estimates and depend on stock, manufacturer lead times, transport and site readiness. Sigma is not liable for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control.
Risk in the goods passes to the customer on delivery to the carrier or to the delivery address, as stated in the order confirmation. Please inspect the consignment on receipt and record any visible transit damage on the delivery document.

09Inspection, Returns and Cancellation

Any shortage, transit damage or supply discrepancy must be reported to us in writing within seven (7) days of delivery. Goods may be returned only with our prior written approval and must be unused, in original packing and in saleable condition.
Equipment that has been installed, run, modified or specially ordered is not eligible for return. Approved returns may attract handling and restocking charges.

10Warranty

Equipment is covered by the manufacturer’s warranty applicable to that product, in the form and for the period stated in the order documents. Sigma will assist you in lodging and following up warranty claims.
Warranty does not cover damage caused by incorrect installation, operation outside rated conditions, dry running, cavitation, unsuitable fluids, lack of maintenance, unauthorised repair, accident, power-supply faults or normal wear and tear of consumable parts such as seals, bearings and belts.

11Installation, Commissioning, Repair and AMC

Installation support, commissioning, troubleshooting, repair and AMC services are provided as described in the relevant quotation or contract. Scope, visit frequency, response times, spares and exclusions are as stated in that document.
You are responsible for providing safe site access, utilities, civil and electrical readiness and qualified personnel as required. Site rules and statutory safety requirements must be followed by all parties.

12Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sigma’s total liability arising from any order or service is limited to the value of the goods or services supplied under that order.
We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of production, loss of profit, downtime, or process or product loss, however arising.
